"Coach Leslie Snyder is the #1 reason why I am in the very best shape of my life. Leslie has helped me to find out more about myself, what I wanted to achieve and has been able to guide me to overcoming my fears and achieve my goals.
To help put my health into perspective; I am 69 years old, have had open heart bypass surgery, have overcome type II Diabetes and no longer take medications. When I first started working with Leslie I could not run 1 mile and I could not swim. Since I have started working with Leslie, I have completed half-marathons, Olympic length Triathlons, swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco, and recently been certified by the Red Cross as a Lifeguard and I am currently working at the local pool as a Lifeguard.
I am stronger emotionally, physically and mentally, than I have ever been."

"When I began working with Leslie I was tired due to lousy sleep, My brain felt foggy, my energy level was low, and I was overweight. After 12 weeks of working with Leslie as a Health Coach I sleep great, I have a clear brain, way more energy, and I lost 18 pounds!
I began this journey not a newbie to the world of eating right but as an overwhelmed woman who needed to hit the reset button on my physical health. I chose to follow a strict diet which meant no more added sugar or coffee, two of my favorite things, especially if they were together in one cup! The first week was really difficult, full of cravings and withdrawals. The amazing thing is that by the end of the second week, I was feeling pretty good for the first time in a long time.
After two months, I feel great. I still crave sugar a couple of times a week. I am learning to drink coffee with no added sugar and liking it. I am beginning to find the me that got lost over the past few years. I like her. She is healthier, more powerful, and more focused. It is not an easy journey. There are pitfalls along the way. In the end it is totally worth it!"

"I started the Precision Nutrition Coaching program at the beginning of October last year. My first progress pictures were taken a year ago today. I feel weird posting this but I'm proud of what I have accomplished this year. I didn't have a huge physical transformation because I didn't really need the physical part of it. There is nothing wrong with what I looked like before. I was working out 5-6 days a week, my body was strong. I did this program because I was tired of feeling like crap all the time from the poor choices I was making with my diet. I was tired of the negative self talk and being worried that my girls would hear me saying awful things about myself. I want them to grow up with a mom who feel good in her own skin and can teach them (by example) that what you look like is not what matters, it's how you feel.
I still have work to do, I don't feel good all the time but I am feeling so much better than I did a year ago. I now have new habits and tools to use to get me where I want to be.

"In the beginning, I was totally lost on what we were doing in the program. With all the other programs I’ve tried, you see results very fast so you will stick with the program. Not this program!
My eating habits were terrible, my sleep was interrupted all night long, I had heart burn most days and I felt bad but really didn't know how bad I felt.
I thought I had to be perfect on all the other diets I was on to keep the weight off. But perfect, I cannot be. I would fail and feel bad about myself and think “What is wrong with me? I can't even control my diet". I was a mess and didn't even know it.
What is different now? I understand the program and why we started off so slowly.
*I know that working on one thing at a time is good for change.
*I understand that what you put into your body helps you the most in how you feel on the inside and outside.
*I sleep through the night.
*I don't have heart burn because I stop eating the sweets/ ice cream *that cause the problem.
*I understand that I am not a bad person for not eating the "right way" but that if I mess up I just pick up the next meal and move forward without guilt.
*I learned we all make mistakes in eating but not everyone beats themselves up over it.
*I also know that this program has helped me most on working on the inside things that were holding me back.
What have I learned?
*I learned how to make healthy choices in food options.
*How to cook a meal and when to stop so I am not overly full.
*I learned that one mistake doesn't make me bad and that one mistake doesn't blow the WHOLE month’s worth of work or even day.
*I learned what a life change eating is all about and how to do it.
Do I feel like I can do all it on my own yet? No. I feel I will learn so much more doing another year of PN coaching because I know I have a ton more to learn and I can’t wait for Round 2!
